Have you ever felt like you’re supposed to be doing more? You’re only on this earth once and might as well make the most of it.
Sometimes i look at people around me and think “are you happy?”
I wonder if they are happy with the jobs they have chosen, the path that they’ve decided to take. Most of my friends are great people and work in retail jobs or supermarkets or even at call centers. They seem happy but whenever i think of spending my whole life in these types of jobs, i get upset. The thought of being stuck in a small shop/office forever, never really experiencing “once in a life time” opportunities. Never just going for a risky/new/different job because it’s “ridiculous”.
Being too safe.
I don’t know if i’m the only person who thinks like this but, I’ve always seemed to dream bigger. Always lived for those experiences that you can’t wait to tell people about. The times that give you butterflies in your stomach and make your heart skip a beat. Going for your dream job.
All i know is one thing I’ve learned over the last few months. You might think the people you’re friends with at the moment will be in your life forever, chances are they won’t. Enjoy the time you have with people.
Sometimes you “outgrow” each other, Sometimes you just drift away and slowly lose contact. It happens. I know the people i have called friends in the past haven’t been supportive of my ‘dreams’ and just think i’m being crazy, making plans that will never happen.
Never be too scared to dream big. If you’ve “always thought of moving away” or “always wanted that job” ect.. GO FOR IT. What have you got to lose? And who knows, you might even get it.
